Who are we?
Safari Club International – Eastern Ontario (SCI Eastern Ontario) is a locally driven chapter of Safari Club International, one of the world’s leading conservation organizations. We are a community of hunters, conservationists, and outdoor advocates united by a shared commitment to protecting wildlife, preserving hunting traditions, and ensuring ethical, sustainable conservation for generations to come.
Rooted in Eastern Ontario, our chapter focuses on making a real impact at the local level while supporting national and international conservation efforts. We believe that responsible hunting and conservation go hand in hand, and that hunters play a critical role in wildlife management, habitat protection, and education.

What We Do
Conservation & Advocacy
SCI Eastern Ontario actively supports conservation initiatives that benefit wildlife and habitat both locally and globally. Through fundraising,
partnerships, and advocacy, we help ensure that wildlife management decisions are guided by science and respect the role of hunters as conservationists.
Education & Youth Engagement
Passing on our knowledge and traditions is essential. We promote hunter education, mentorship, and youth-focused initiatives that teach safety, ethics, conservation values, and respect for the outdoors.
Community & Events
Our chapter brings people together through banquets, meetings, educational events, and conservation-focused activities. These events strengthen our community, fund conservation programs, and create opportunities to share stories, knowledge, and camaraderie.
Supporting the Hunting Heritage
We stand proud of our hunting heritage and work to ensure it remains strong in Eastern Ontario. By supporting hunters, outfitters, landowners, and outdoor partners, we help protect a way of life that has shaped conservation success across North America.
Why We Matter?
Hunting and conservation face increasing challenges, from misinformation to regulatory pressure. SCI Eastern Ontario exists to be a strong, local voice that represents hunters fairly, responsibly, and professionally.
We believe that:
-
Hunting is a vital conservation tool
